We are now recruiting for a Management Accountant the purpose of this position is too produce accurate monthly management accounts to strict deadlines, to include all supporting activities, and schedules as well as key finance tasks such as Cash Flow forecasting and VAT returns. To prepare additional reports and supporting schedules for Quarterly reporting and the year end audit.


Job Accountabilities


  • Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are completed by working day 10, and any issues are highlighted, investigated and actioned in a timely manner.
  • Hold regular aged debtor meetings and ensure aged items are investigated and cleared in a timely manner
  • Support the production of an accurate management accounts pack
  • Investigate and report on significant variances against budget/forecast


You will also be tasked with providing accurate identification of P&L risks/opportunities that may affect forecasts and also liaise with internal and external auditors & provide accurate & timely information to aid a smooth auditing process.


Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Part qualified or qualified (CIMA or ACCA)
  • Experience working within a high volume business
  • Experience of working in a dynamic environment
  • Experience of working in a diverse team
  • Proven track record in producing accurate management accounts in a timely manner
