dnata Travel Group, part of the Emirates Group, includes the brands of Gold Medal, Netflights, Travelbag, Travel Republic, and Sunmaster. These brands are based at offices across the UK including Preston (Leyland), Kingston-upon-Thames, Chester and Halifax.

We are now recruiting for a HR Administrator to join our team in Leyland. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner you will support the day to day activity of the People & Culture (HR) department. In this role you will be responsible for managing all administration working to agreed SLA’s, ensuring attention to detail and confidentiality is of paramount importance.

This role is to cover maternity leave for up to 13 months

Job Accountabilities

  • Manage the HR inbox, responding to general queries or escalate to Business Partners as appropriate
  • Produce and distribute employment contracts
  • Follow the new starter process using the Cascade HR system
  • File all documents electronically ensuring they are easy to locate, confidential and stored/handled according to GDPR guidelines;
  • Ensure all electronic employee files are kept in good order and up to date
  • Track all right to work documentation through the Cascade system
  • Manage all administration for People & Culture (HR) projects, performance reviews, National Minimum Wage and general salary increases.
  • Compile information, MI reports and data as required
  • Process all invoices and purchase orders
  • Provide administrative support for the leaver process

To be considered for this role, we need you to have the following skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Previous experience of HR administration gained within a similar fast paced commercial environment
  • Business or HR administration qualification is desirable
  • Knowledge/experience of using HR systems – ideally Cascade
  • A great drive to perform, enthusiasm and a "can do" attitude for People & Culture (HR)
  • Excellent administration skills, including a good working understanding of Microsoft office programmes and working knowledge of excel reports, vlookup and basic formulas
  • Be able to deliver results unsupervised and using own initiative
  • Verbal communication skills suitable to all levels of the organisation
  • Written communication skills to produce succinct correspondence and reports
  • Knowledge of HR policy and practice and have an understanding of the practical application of Employment Law
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
