Group Finance Manager - Treasury (0326)

dnata Travel Group, part of the Emirates Group, includes the brands of Gold Medal, Netflights, Travelbag, Travel Republic, Global Travel Group and Sunmaster. These brands are based at offices across the UK including Preston (Leyland)  Kingston-upon-Thames, Chester and Halifax

We are now recruiting for a Group  Finance Manager - Treasury who will be responsible for the assessment, monitoring and management of the efficient utilisation of cash and financial services. In this newly created role you will manage controls and provide risk assessments on UK Group cash processes. You will ensure all UK Group payments are made on a timely and accurate basis with appropriate approval structure in place.

This role will be responsible for maximising cash generation and identifying increased profit opportunities from the purchase to pay, and order to cash processes. The Group Treasury Manager will manage the FX purchase and monitoring across the UK Group within the controlled framework.

You will also lead key Finance transition work streams including standardisation and simplification of the UK Treasury processes

This role will be mainly based at our flagship office in Leyland (South Preston), with some travel required between other UK sites along with travel to Dubai, albeit on an infrequent basis.

To be considered for this role you should be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with post qualification experience. You will have previously been responsible for the leading the Treasury function in a large organisation – ideally in the travel industry or other r service sector industries

 Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Experience of leading the Treasury function in a large organisation
  • Experience of working in the leisure travel industry or service sector industries
  • Experience of working within a Group structure and liaising and co-ordinating reporting across a number of subsidiaries
  • Strong Financial Control background – Commercial and Treasury
  • Proven ability to understand and engage with key stakeholders
  • Open, honest and direct
  • A clear thinker, adopting logical and structured approaches to all business matters
  • Highly numerate and analytical
  • Strong interpersonal skills
