dnata Travel Group, part of the Emirates Group, includes the brands of Gold Medal, Netflights, Travelbag, Travel Republic, and Sunmaster. These brands are based at offices across the UK including Preston (Leyland), Kingston-upon-Thames, Chester and Halifax.

We are now recruiting for a NEWLY created position of Graphic Designer to help us achieve our goal and build on your already, first-rate portfolio. The sole purpose of Travel Republic is to help everyone across the country get the holidays they deserve, year-in year-out. This is what gets us out of bed in the morning. 

As the graphic designer working within the marketing team, you’ll be responsible for turning briefs into best-in-class marketing campaigns. Your work will mean all our online marketing communications;

You’ll be comfortable working with an existing creative strategy developed by our external creative agency and be a dab-hand at turning your skills to meet briefs for a wide range of online channels in order to positively shift audience engagement metrics in a highly competitive and homogenous market.

This means experience of - and active interest in – brand and online marketing best practices is a must-have quality. This role needs someone who can bring a wealth of expertise and ideas to the job along with a desire to learn new skills where needed.


  • Get under the skin of the Travel Republic customer to know what makes them tick when it comes to their holidays so you can design communications that they will want to engage with.
  • Conceive, develop and bring to life creative assets and iconography for fully integrated campaigns that will run across digital marketing channels and on-site through the customer’s booking journey.
  • Be responsible for consistent branding and styling across all online marketing channels and for all product types that TR sell (for example; Package Holidays, Hotel-only, Experiences).
  • Support the CRM programme to deliver new, and continually optimise existing, email designs and templates that improve revenue generation from existing customer database.
  • Work side-by-side with the Copywriter & Social Media Exec to generate content that encourages social fans and followers to engage with the Travel Republic brand, services and products.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Knowledge of the full Adobe Design Suite, particularly Photoshop, InDesign and After Effects – our ideal candidate would have experience in Sketch and advanced Acrobat usage.
  • Excellent re-touching and comping skills
  • Ability to apply E-commerce / retail sector design principles to effectively merchandise brand or tactical marketing assets.
