We are now recruiting for a Business Development Executive to proactively onboard and support new and dormant travel partners (agents). This will include implementing and executing sales & marketing plans as well as actively promoting our range of products to exceed targets. As our Business Development Executive you will own commercial agreements & override tracking, whilst continually building on and growing existing partnerships and identifying new opportunities. 

This role is based at our office in Leyland with some UK and overseas travel required 

Key Accountabilities 

  • Actively on-board new agents and dormant agents across all our B2B brands.  
  • Review partner performance give direction across to deliver results 
  • Work proactively with partners to raise the profile and improve the performance of our B2B brands - this includes training sessions, telephone/teams calls & webinar presentations 
  • Produce and manage clear marketing & activity plans to develop the partnership and improve performance 
  • Work proactively with our internal teams to strengthen their knowledge of our partners 
  • Work with our Agency Sales support team to improve agent communication, service & resolve booking issues 
  • Engage in close working relationships with key suppliers, to further encourage supplier investment with partners  
  • Keep up to date with strategic developments and share this for the benefit of our partnerships  
  • Feed market intelligence back into the business  

 To be considered for this role we need you to have the following skills, experience and qualifications:  

  • A sound knowledge of  and experience within the travel industry – especially long-haul, scheduled air and the B2B market 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Excellent customer relationship/stakeholder management skills 
  • Great problem-solving skills 
  • Good understanding of IT & social media 
  • The ability to prioritise and manage several different tasks at once 
  • Results driven 
  • Full driving licence
