We are now recruiting for experienced Travel Specialists to join our team of experts at our recently refreshed shop on Bridge Street in Chester.
Ideally you will have experience of selling long haul destinations and tailor-made holidays, but if you only have short haul experience, we’d still love to hear from you. GDS experience would also be an advantage. You need to have exceptional customer service skills, be driven by your passion for travel and motivated to meet and exceed your targets. If you have studied travel and tourism, completed a degree, have travelled to long haul destinations and have great customer service experience – we’d also be interested in your application.
Our Travel Specialists work 37.5 hours per week 5 days over 7 and in peak periods we can be open 9am to 9pm to meet our customer demands.
When you join Travelbag, you’ll have an initial 3-week interactive training period with our inhouse training team. You’ll then join our ‘academy’ with dedicated support alongside support and coaching from your manager.
You will have lots of opportunities to enhance your product and destination knowledge – including weekly product training from our destination team and supplier hosted events where you can meet others in the industry as well as learn about a product or destination – and there are usually prizes up for grabs!
