Revenue Protection Manager (0418)

We are now recruiting for a Revenue Protection Manager who will lead business efforts to protect revenue and mitigate margin erosions.  You will also be responsible for owning and providing clear insight into the drivers of erosions across the business and managing key activities to minimise losses.  

Job Accountabilities

  • Report on overall margin erosion performance and drivers by category.  Identify plans and develop initiatives to minimise future erosions, working with key stakeholders across the business to implement and execute against plans.
  • Report on general customer issues and insight on (e.g. cancellations) to support decision making and profitability analysis (E.g. with Commercial and Marketing teams)
  • Lead work with Sales, Commercial, Operations, Finance, Supplier Relations and external suppliers to ensure consistency of booking data versus expectations and provide feedback / review to highlight issues as they arise.
  • Review new sample bookings to identify issues and proactively support the sales team on areas such as price matches and customer discounting.
  • Work with relevant suppliers to mitigate cancellation or other supplier charges (E.g. for accommodation).


 To be considered for this role, we need you to have the following skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of key travel booking and management processes within an OTA environment, with first hand knowledge gained in a customer facing role (e.g. Sales/Service)
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams on process analysis, issue identification and resolution
  • Proven ability to define, create and deliver detailed insight on booking level profitability drivers
  • Strong analytical skills (ability to work with BI tools, SQL, and multiple supplier platforms) to extract relevant information
