Product Manager - Gold Medal (0524)

dnata Travel Group, part of the Emirates Group, includes the brands of Gold Medal, Netflights, Travelbag, Travel Republic, and Sunmaster. These brands are based at offices across the UK including Preston (Leyland), Kingston-upon-Thames, Chester and Halifax.

We are now recruiting for a Product Manager to work alongside our key business stakeholders and the Product leadership team to define our vision & strategy. You will have responsibility for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritising product and customer requirements, shaping the problems and defining the product vision ensuring it meets the business strategy and goals. You will work closely with other internal teams to ensure commercial, operational and customer satisfaction goals are met.

We are looking for someone who has a passion for Product that drives your desire to create experiences that our consumers love. You need to understand our customers and ensure their needs are reflected in the Product Strategy and Roadmap, using your experience of a range of Product techniques to collaboratively shape the problem or solution.

Our Product Managers need to be collaborative and engaging, making sure the whole product team is on the journey with you, as well as being be data driven to find ways of qualifying value and success. You will be confident in providing e-commerce and digital thought leadership be able to own the product performance and measurement.

To be considered for this role, we need you to have the following skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Demonstrable Product Manager experience, ideally with a strong e-commerce background or travel experience an advantage
  • A strong understanding of the Product Development Lifecycle
  • The ability to prioritise and make trade off decisions independently and in conjunction with key stakeholders
  • Experience in a range of Product Management tools, from strategy to prioritisation, and from problem to measurement
  • Results and outcome focussed and motivated by commercial success
  • Understanding of agile methodologies such as Scrum, Scaled Agile etc. beneficial
  • Experience of working with 3rd party suppliers to leverage their innovation to make a difference
  • Technical background, with experience working with Agile development teams
  • Excellent communication skills, able to develop good relationships with stakeholders at all levels across multiple locations
  • Strong data manipulation and interpretation skills, including the ability to access and read diverse data sets and use them to inform decisions
  • Outstanding technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • The ability to think strategically and implement short-term and longer-term departmental objectives
  • A strong work ethic with a real commitment to continuous improvement
