E-Commerce and Trading Manager (12 FTC)

dnata Travel Group are on the lookout for an E-Commerce and Trading Manager on an FTC for 12 months covering maternity leave, based out of our Kingston Upon Thames office.

 

The E-Commerce and Trading manager will work alongside key business stakeholders, preparing and analysing data and using this insight to implement pricing strategies, promotions and onsite merchandising to drive improved performance across all platforms.

 

To work closely with the product team to ensure promotion of destinations & product with key strategic & commercial importance. To be the main point of contact for sales to liaise with to ensure full visibility of current offers.

 

Role:

  • Driving ecommerce sales and development of ongoing trading and promotional strategy
  • Collaborating with key stake holders to plan help the trading calendar, leading the delivery and reporting of all on-site promotions and content activity
  • Merchandising products and optimising customer journey to improve conversion rates and online KPI’s
  • Analyse daily and weekly Trading performance at a functional and regional level to initiate actions and campaigns to drive continuous performance improvement
  • Understand the implications of external market dynamics and competitor activity on the business and react accordingly
  • Take on extra duties in order to support business goals & objectives as and when required
  • Identify traffic flows and business opportunities to maximize revenue across routes
  • Deliver updates on trading performance to relevant stakeholders including airline executives and business owners including chairing a weekly Airline Trading Forum

Qualification:

  • High level of attention to detail and copy accuracy
  • Ability to lead, develop and coach a team
  • Highly commercial, numerate with a high level of analytical skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Office 365
  • Previous experience within the travel industry with exposure to pricing and revenue management systems
  • Passion for travel
