We are now recruiting for Senior 3rd Line Support Engineer in Preston (Leyland) with significant experience in Enterprise 3rd line Infrastructure Support and Delivery.
In this role you will support the 3rd Line Team Manager in ensuring we maintain a secure and safe environment and ensure operational performance is maintained, collaborating with the service desk in incident management process to ensure minimum downtime.
As Senior Support Engineer you will be both primary and secondary SME for Systems & Technologies within our infrastructure. You will provide technical and troubleshooting guidance within the team and work with the team to ensure that all monitoring and alerting processes are optimal and effective.
We need someone who is an excellent communicator, able to clearly understand and solve technical issues and have a superior level of knowledge of infrastructure technologies & best practices. You need to be comfortable working as part of cross functional and cross site team structure.
There will be a requirement to participate in on-call support process on a rota basis providing a 24/7 coverage, as required.
